Educational Visit to Hakkari Science and Art Center as Part of the Teaching Artistic Skills in Special Education Course
As part of the “Teaching Artistic Skills in Special Education” course conducted by Res. Asst. Dr. Savaş BERK, a faculty member of our Department, an educational visit to Hakkari Science and Art Center will be held on Friday, 6 November 2026, at 1:30 p.m. The visit aims to enable our students to observe educational and artistic practices for gifted learners.
An educational visit to Hakkari Science and Art Center will be organized for the students of the Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education, Hakkari University.
The visit will be conducted as part of the “Teaching Artistic Skills in Special Education” course taught by Res. Asst. Dr. Savaş BERK, a faculty member of our Department.
During the visit, students will learn about the institutional structure of the Science and Art Center, the educational processes for gifted learners, and the activities carried out in the field of art. They will also have the opportunity to observe the methods, techniques, materials, and practices used in teaching artistic skills to gifted learners, examine educational settings, and exchange views with professionals working in the field.
The visit aims to help students connect the theoretical knowledge acquired in the course with practical examples, become familiar with instructional processes addressing different areas of talent, and enhance their professional awareness.
